ReplyDeletesome racquets are like battle axes, other like rapiers, I change racquets during a match to change strategy, change from a power game to a spin/finese game or to throw a curve into someone's game who is dominating me too easily. Change seems to keep my interest up and keep my game alive. Each racquet has something to teach you about playing. Tennis is the art of cutting space and time and the racquet is your sword that helps you slice.
ReplyDeleteand, not the least, it's nice to resort to a racquet change when my skills let me down!
